January 1, 1923 ~ December 22, 2010

A loving wonderful mother and Christian lady has gone to rest with the Lord. Audrey W. Turner passed away peacefully at home on December 22, 2010. Audrey's love and kindness to family, animals, and friends will be greatly missed. Audrey was a life member of the Church of Christ.

She is survived by her only son; David Alan Turner and daughter-in-law; Joy K. Keegan of Knoxville, Tennessee, one brother; Paul R. White, and two sisters; Nell Maddux and Betty Hendrix.

Audrey was preceded in death by her husband of fifty years, Walter C. Turner and her parents; Thomas and Carrie White.

The family will receive friends at Scottsboro Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, December 26, 2010 from noon until the funeral service at 2 P.M. with Mr. Nesbitt Sanford officiating. Burial will be Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at 1 P.M. at Highlands Cemetery in Piedmont, Alabama.
